SUMMARY:Mome La La La Land! André Smits ARTISTINTHEWORLD | Watch a Mural Come to Life
DESCRIPTION:Armenian Arts is proud to present ARTISTINTHEWORLD by Dutch photographer and painter André Smits\, a global\, ongoing artistic journey that connects artists and art professionals across continents through photography\, murals\, and living networks of collaboration. \nSince 2008\, Smits has built an ever-expanding archive of more than 7\,000 photographs portraying artists in their studios around the world. A defining element of the series is the romantic Rückenfigur concept: each subject is photographed from behind\, offering viewers an intimate yet contemplative glimpse into creative spaces. \nThis pop-up exhibition marks his fourth visit to Los Angeles and features more than 100 photographs. \nA Living Mural – Watch It Happen \nFrom March 1–5\, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM\, André Smits will be creating a large-scale mural inside Armenian Arts. The mural functions as a living map of artistic connections — a network of names and arrows tracing relationships and introductions between artists. \nThe public is warmly invited to step in throughout the week to witness the mural’s progress in real time. Visitors may observe the process\, engage with the evolving network\, or follow daily updates on our Instagram. \nFor this exhibition\, Smits collaborates with Monika Dahlberg\, who will respond within the mural through colorful collages inspired by the city. \nSmits’ exhibitions function as social sculptures — spaces where connection itself becomes the artwork. \nExhibition Schedule \nFriday\, March 6\, 2026\n7:00–10:00 PM — Opening Reception  \nSaturday\, March 7\, 2026\n3:00–6:00 PM — Exhibition Open\n4:00 PM — Artist Talk  \nAfter the artist talk\, photographed artists are invited to take their portrait from the wall as a gift — a gesture reflecting the spirit of openness and shared artistic practice. \nJoin us for a week of process\, connection\, and celebration of the global artistic community.

SUMMARY:Hoarse Fanfares: Triumph
DESCRIPTION:Armenian Arts presents Hoarse Fanfares: Triumph\, an exhibition exploring the mystical dimension of the graphic practice of Stratumism by Armen Ronov. \nIn spiritual tradition\, fanfares announce awakening.\nYet when they sound hoarse\, awakening has passed through purification — through fire. This exhibition reflects the triumph of a spirit that has undergone initiation. \nArtistic Manifesto  \nLayering. Incisions. Texture. \n• Fanfare — the line as proclamation\, the gesture as signal.\n• Hoarseness — the tactile abrasion of graphic matter.\n• Triumph — the achieved compositional equilibrium. \nThis is the triumph of material left unpolished. \nHoarse Fanfares: Triumph is a victory without varnish.\nIt is the sound of art that has endured the friction of time. \nHere\, triumph does not shout. It bears witness — in a raspy register — affirming both fact and communion with time itself. \nWe invite you to experience this contemplative and textural body of work across two evenings at Armenian Arts. \nExhibition Dates:\nFriday\, March 13\, 2026 | 7:00–10:00 PM\nSaturday\, March 14\,2026 | 3:00–6:00 PM

SUMMARY:Unspoken Tales by Sergey Bagramyan
DESCRIPTION:The Center for Armenian Arts is pleased to present Unspoken Tales\, a new exhibition by Sergey Bagramyan\, whose works unfold at the delicate border between dream\, memory\, and myth. \nIn these paintings\, light becomes a quiet narrator\, color turns into breath\, and forms dissolve into symbols of stories that seem to exist just beyond language. Each canvas opens like a silent stage where time slows down\, allowing tenderness\, anxiety\, and hope to emerge through carefully constructed visual worlds. \nChildhood visions intertwine with mythic imagination\, solitude resonates like distant music\, and silence gathers its own emotional presence. Bagramyan creates autonomous worlds filled with subtle symbolism and inner voices — fragile spaces where imagination and memory remain suspended between reality and dream. \nEach work invites viewers into an inward passage\, encouraging slower looking\, deeper feeling\, and quiet reflection on what often remains unspoken. \nBorn in Yerevan\, Sergey Bagramyan is an internationally exhibited painter and graphic artist whose work has been shown across Europe\, Russia\, and the United States. His visual language combines classical draftsmanship with contemporary painterly expression\, often creating cinematic atmospheres where light itself carries narrative force. \nWe warmly invite you to experience this contemplative exhibition and enter the poetic visual world of Unspoken Tales. \nOpening night: Friday\, May 1\, 2026 | 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM \nExhibition continues: Saturday\, May 2\, 2026 | 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
